Historical facts:
Cabin 40 is a two story hand hewn pioneer cabin built circa 1835 just north of Cincinnati Ohio, in Farmersville Ohio. In the late 1800’s, a second log cabin was added to the rear expanding both floors. In early 1900’s, white clapboard siding was added to the cabin protecting the logs. The current cabin was disassembled in 2019, logs from the rear expansion were used to replace several logs and make needed adaptations. Efforts were made to leave the cabin logs as natural as possible to allow the full 180 year history to be displayed.
